The Creme of the Crop
The Barton Grange group of companies scooped two awards in this year's Lancashire Best Kept Village Competition.
The Barton Grange Hotel won the award in the Hotel and Guest House category and the Garden Centre won the award for Best Kept Commercial and Industrial Premises.
The company has only a small team of staff who are dedicated to keeping the grounds looking so immaculate and colourful, led by Rachel Hodgson at the Hotel and Denise Hargreaves at the Garden Centre.
Rachel and Denise collected the awards at a ceremony at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel earlier this month, alongside Company Chairman, Eddie Topping. Eddie said:
"Rachel and Denise work extremely hard to ensure that our grounds and gardens always look at their best and I'm delighted that their hard work and talent have been so publicly recognised."
