Not every hotel has a Garden Centre but we do (it’s a family thing!). It’s a great site, with the Lancaster Canal running around it and the River Brock running through it and includes a farm shop and a narrow boat marina. Just 2 miles north, straight up the A6.

Barton Grange is ideally situated for exploring some of the most beautiful scenery in the north of England. On your doorstep are the Forest of Bowland, Beacon Fell Country Park, the Lancaster Canal, River Brock and the gorgeous Ribble Valley, offering endless opportunities for walking and outdoor pursuits.

Minutes away to the South is the city of Preston, home of the National Football Museum, the Harris Museum and Art Gallery, the Guildhall and a modern shopping centre. Historic Lancaster is a short drive north and you are also within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The bright lights of Blackpool are about twenty minutes drive away
