With an award-winning Garden Centre on site you don’t have to go far to find something to do when you’re staying at Barton Grange. If you do want to venture out though, there’s plenty to do and see in the local area.

Barton Grange is ideally situated for exploring some of the most beautiful scenery in the north of England. On your doorstep are the Forest of Bowland, Beacon Fell Country Park, the Lancaster Canal, River Brock and the gorgeous Ribble Valley, offering endless opportunities for walking and outdoor pursuits.

Minutes away to the South is the city of Preston, home of the National Football Museum, the Harris Museum and Art Gallery, the Guildhall and a modern shopping centre. Historic Lancaster is a short drive north and you are also within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The bright lights of Blackpool are about twenty minutes drive away.
